State Boiler Advisory Committee
Status of Training for Boiler License at Local 70
There have been a lot of changes made in the Boiler Licensing Exam, more in the area of the test and material needed for study that have not been completed by the Boiler Advisory Committee and the State.
Study materials are available but there is a delay in getting the Question and Answer section in each chapter completed so that the engineer / student could concentrate on test questions.
The other portion that was changed was the test its self .Due these changes, test results have had a higher failure rate than expected.
So in a recent meeting of the Advisory Board some modifications are being considered.
When all this settles out Local # 70 will once again be offering the 40 Hr. course.
