Basic Air Handling & Maintenance

Description: This four session class provides instruction in fundamentals, recognizing different types of air handling systems, records keeping, what are the advantages /disadvantages of different systems, proper lubrication of fan motors and bearings, proper lining up of pulleys and sheaves, V-belt installation, and trouble shooting causes of excessive wear of fan components.  

Location: Classes will be held at the Local 70 classroom, located at: 2417 Larpenteur Avenue West; in Lauderdale. Located one block east of Hwy. 280 & Larpenteur Avenue exit, on the corner of Larpenteur Avenue & Eustis Street.

 

Cost: Tuition for the class is $150.00 for International Union of Operating Engineers members and $200.00 for non-members.
