40-Hour Low Pressure Boiler Course

This course is currently on hold waiting finalization of materials by state boiler advisory committee

Description: This class provides practical information on the operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of LOW PRESSURE BOILERS, burner operation setup and maintenance; including upgrade of your current license (provided the proper paperwork is submitted to the State). Field trips and hands-on instruction are included in this course for both high or low pressure operations. Depending on changes to the State’s testing procedures, students may be able to take the State Boiler Exam on the last day of class. If the State procedures are changed, the last day will be a class day.   Further information may be obtained by calling the Code Enforcement Office at (651)284-5080 or visiting their web site at www.doli.state.mn.us/code.html

 Dates / TimesPLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO NEW AND REVISED STATE OF MINNESOTA BOILER LAWS, THE LOCAL 70 2009 CLASS HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL THE NEW EXAMINATIONS AND CLASS MATERIALS ARE AVAILABLE.
 
Cost: Tuition for the class is $300.00 for International Union of Operating Engineers members and $350.00 for nonmembers. Price includes your text books and tuition. The cost of the class does not include the additional fee to take the State Boiler Exam.
